Neil R. MacIntyre, MD, FAARC (above left), Medical Director of Respiratory Care Services at Duke University Hospital, is pictured receiving the Jimmy A. Young Medal from Sam Giordano, MBA, RRT, FAARC, Executive Director of the American Association for Respiratory Care.  Dr. Macintyre received the award at the AARC’s 53rd Annual International Respiratory Congress at Orlando, Florida.  The Jimmy A. Young Medal is the highest award presented by the AARC and honors an individual who has “exceeded all expectations for meritorious service to the AARC and advancement of the respiratory care professions”. 
 
 
 
Jonathan Brady Scott, RRT (far left), Duke Respiratory Care Clinical Supervisor, was also honored at the AARC International Congress at Orlando. Brady received the Adult Acute Care Section's 2007 'Practitioner of the Year' Award.  Brady and other Specialty Section award winners are pictured with AARC President Toni Rodriguez, EdD, RRT (fifth from left).
